Sri Govinda Dham is an ashram and community centre in Northern NSW, Australia, spiritually affiliated with Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, Nabadwip, India. It is a place of shelter for spiritual seekers and aspirants. Our presiding deities are Sri Sri Guru-Gaurasundar-Giridharijiu who were installed by our beloved Srila Gurudeva, Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj on 1st January 1997. The Dham is a place of service to the Lord and together the community aspires after the ideals and teachings of our Guru Parampara, our spiritual lineage.
Humility, Tolerance and Giving Honour to Others
Primary among these teachings is to constantly chant the Lord’s Holy Names, especially in the form of the Hare Krishna Mahamantra,
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.
We practice humility, tolerance, patience, and giving all respect to others while encouraging each other on the spiritual path.
Our practice is centred around the list of special festival days given in The Gaudiya Parvva Talika

Nestled in foothills of Mount Warning, near the rural village of Uki, Sri Govinda Dham is an ashram and community centre on 7 acres of land by the Tweed River.
We have regular gardening activities and working bees on the property and gather each Sunday for a spiritual program of chanting, discussion and vegetarian feast from 4pm.
The ashram is open every day to guests and sincere seekers with worship daily at sunrise, midday and sunset.
All Welcome.
